DOS- hammering a websites equipment wit too many requests for information, an attacker can effectively clog a system, slowing performance or even crashing  site eg: Jan 4 2002: DOS on e-commerce cause 3hrs slow performance on google, yahoo

Software piracy happens when unauthorized copying of computer programs.
